“You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say.”
-F. Scott Fitzgerald

My connection to the world has become my journey to a form of self discovery. I am blessed to have family, friends and colleagues who care and a dog that is quirky, yet special. Every single one of them has influenced the person that I am today and I can only hope to be half as fantastic as I see them in my eyes.

My name is Vivian Choi and I am enamoured with life.

Books are my constant lifesavers. They inject me with the wonderful writings of fiction, poems and biographies of talented writers. I am a proud bookworm and I love to read and write. Every year, I take part in a Book Pledge. In 2014, I completed 67 books in 365 days and this year my goal is to complete 70. I read everything, from business to fiction, biography to self-help. While I love to read to wine down, my cathartic exercise of all is to write. I’d like to call myself a writer but I’m not sure I am fully qualified. I try to write every single day; documenting the good and the not so great. Writing has always been part of who I am; it is always there by my side, like an old friend that I can always turn to.

I have been running since I was 8 years old. I have run multiple 5k, 10k and half-marathon races in my last sixteen years of starting this crazy sport. More recently, I completed my first ever marathon in Walt Disney World in January 2015, admitting myself in the 1% club. Running pushes me to my limits and gives me the adrenaline injections I need to keep my endurance. I love everything about it, the high, the medals and the tracks left behind after you have pounded the pavement. In the last couple of years, I started doing Yoga and now, I yoga every damn day. I love the practice of yoga, the zen of the breathing, the power in the poses. Check out my yoga posts here and all of my photos attempting to do several poses on my Instagram account.

As of December 18, 2015, I am now a Certified Yoga Teacher 200-Hour!

Hurray! Hurrah!

And in this moment I swear, we are infinite.

This is me.

  1. V, I just read your “about”. I also have a degree in management with a concentration in marketing and a minor in mathematics! How bizzarly coincidental! Both runners, bloggers, and readers. I love it!
